VPN77 Setup Guide

Once your subscription is active, here is how to configure your operating system. Please have your Username, Password and address of the server you want to connect.

  1. Open Network settings in System Preferences
  • Click Apple then System Preferences
  • Click Network under Internet & Wireless
  1. Click + (plus)
  2. Select VPN for the interface, L2TP Over IPSEC for the VPN Type, and enter VPN77 for Service Name
  3. Click Create
  4. Select the new VPN77 connection
  5. Enter one of the VPN77 server addresses in the Server Address field
  6. Type your login information in the Account Name field
  7. Click Authentication Settings and enter your password then click OK
  8. Under Machine Authentication, click the radio button for Shared Secret. Enter the shared secret password then click OK
  9. Click Advanced, check Send all traffic over VPN connection, then click OK
  10. Click Apply

  • Click Apple then System Preferences
  • Click Network under Internet & Wireless
  1. Click + (plus)
  2. Select VPN for the interface, PPTP for the VPN Type, and enter VPN77 for Service Name
  3. Click Create.
  4. Select the new VPN77 connection
  5. Enter one of the VPN77 servers addresses in the Server Address field
  6. Type your login information in the Account Name field
  7. Click Authentication Settings and enter your password then click OK
  8. Click Advanced, check Send all traffic over VPN connection, then click OK
  9. Click Apply
  1. Download Tunnelblick
  2. Install Tunnelblick following the instructions
  3. Launch Tunnelblick
  4. Add the configuration files by clicking on I have configuration files
  5. Select OpenVPN Configuration
  6. Select Open Private Configurations Folder
  7. Select Done
  8. The folder Configuration will appear
  9. Get the VPN77 OpenVPN configuration files for Tunnelblick, which you can download from your account panel, and Extract them into the Configurations Close the window when done
  10. Launch Tunnelblick from Applications
  11. Click on the Tunnelblick icon on the task bar
  12. Select One of the VPN77 server addresses and type in your username and password
  13. Once done, Tunnelblick will try to connect
